Lotfold mechanics

Lotfold lets a seller escrow one Stock Token lot at a fixed price per token in USDG. Multiple buyers can purchase portions of the same listing.

Listing a lot

The seller selects an allowlisted Stock Token, an amount, a USDG price per full token and a listing period from ten minutes to thirty days. The exact token amount enters contract escrow. A fee-on-transfer token cannot create a listing.

Buying a portion

A buyer enters a token amount no larger than the remaining lot and a maximum total USDG payment. The contract calculates the sale amount in six-decimal USDG, adds a 0.5% buyer fee and rejects the transaction if the total exceeds the buyer's maximum. The Stock Tokens go to the buyer; the sale amount goes to the seller; the fee goes to the fee recipient. Every fill is atomic. Very small amounts that round to zero USDG are rejected.

Cancellation and expiry

The seller can cancel an open listing and withdraw all unsold tokens. After the deadline, purchases stop and the seller can still cancel to recover the remainder. No keeper is required. A fully sold listing cannot be cancelled.

Corporate actions

Lotfold records the Stock Token's onchain uiMultiplier at listing time. A purchase is blocked if it changes. The seller can cancel and relist with updated terms. The contract does not use a price oracle or claim to calculate fair value.

Contracts and fees

The buyer fee is 0.5% of each fill's sale amount, rounded up to the smallest USDG unit. The fee recipient and token allowlist are fixed at deployment. The contract has no admin function to seize a seller's open lot or change the fee.

Risks and eligibility

Lotfold is unaudited. Contract defects, token behavior, wallet mistakes, stale seller prices and limited buyer demand can cause losses. Stock Tokens are tokenised debt securities, not direct shares in the underlying companies. Review the issuer documentation and jurisdictional restrictions before use.
